MUMOK 2.0

AN AUGMENTED STAGE FOR MUSEUMSQUARTIER

mumokAR is a mixed reality app that lets users experience and interact with the transformation of the main museum building. During this process, the building transforms into a gigantic urban stage and several sequences playfully reveal museum-related content and information regarding existing and upcoming exhibitions. Interaction through tapping on moving objects further reveals surprises to the users.

The project explores how digital experiences can be anchored in our built environment.
