Monuments have played an important role in human history, often serving as symbols of power, identity, and cultural memory. However, the function and significance of monuments have evolved over time, especially in contemporary culture. With the rise of digital technology, the traditional approach to monument-making has been challenged, opening new possibilities for artistic expression and cultural critique. The project investigates new monuments though digital 3D tools, simulation, AI, and sculptural approaches. The monuments challenge conventional notions of monumentality, using digital tools, simulations and generative AI to explore new forms, textures, and aesthetics.
